We’ve seen dogs in offices go back hone and jet setting travel prizes fall away. It’s been a tough year.

What we do know is that the news of the pubs reopening caused a stir on social media. Could smart employers tap into this?

eDrinks believes so, and are on a mission to support the hospitality industry and drive footfall back through the door the moment they re-open by using the power of thirsty employees!

We spoke to Amy Morson from eDrinks about this new incentive idea that’s good for pubs, and your people.

Can you tell us about why drinks are a great incentive?

“Many of us love a drink! Having seen pubs being closed now for several months, we are finally in a position to start looking forward to going back to the pub and that’s great for teams who have been away from others and are feeling disconnected. At eDrinks, we have recently raised funds via crowdfunding and are now focusing on partnering with corporates interested in employee incentive gifting and offer them a means support our local pubs at the same time.  eDrinks offers a way for businesses to engage, incentivise and reward employees and management.

As you probably know, as of April 12th, pub garden’s will re-open in the UK and shortly after that, the government roadmap will integrate all other pubs and bars. For companies and brands seeking to support and help the pub sector, now is the time to engage in lifting the sector back to upon its proud feet. Whether that might be as a companywide initiative or just small tokens of appreciation to employees currently furloughed, eDrinks provides a simple and engaging solution.”

So what’s different between eDrinks and other gifting platforms?

“eDrinks presents a unique offering to companies, affording them the freedom and control to set employee gift budgets based on expenditure (drinks redeemed) and avoid open ended bar tabs for staff. Managers can even set the redemption period and determine which venues to make available, ensuring that eDrinks are enjoyed within the parameters you intend.

Additionally, eDrinks presents an opportunity to merge corporate atmospheres with local community spirit in a way which no other platform offers. Management may look to increase staff productivity by encouraging engagement outside the office walls. You can offer a simple thank you to your employees in the form of an age old currency; a drink round!”
