Travel Incentives: Paris

When it comes to a travel incentive, who can resist the stunning allure of Paris? It’s close, it’s charming and oh so chic.

With the Eurostar providing a direct link into central Paris, you can be there in just a few hours – 2h 40 from Manchester, and less on the train! Combined with great food and wine, it’s a travel incentive ready to happen!

We took a look at Les Jardins du Marais, Paris, a place we spotted online. If you’re looking at a travel incentive destination, we think this one could be well worth a look.

Where is it located? 
This hotel is situated in the area that you would call ‘historical Paris’ or ‘Old Paris’  known as le Marais. If you want to think chic, you can do much worse than this charming boutique hotel which off off the side of a cobblestone street. It’s about 30 minutes by subway to the Eiffel tower, and Charles-De-Gaulle Airport is about 50 minutes away with a simple subway route. The Marais area is filled with cafes and authentic french restaurants, vintage & local designer boutiques and you’re also not too far away from the new Chanel store…

What can you do locally? 

The Jardins du Marais has the double whammy of green and lush private gardens (1500 sqm, to be precise) alongside proximity to amenities. Just a 10 minute saunter will see your lucky travel incentive winner at places like the Place des Vosges – an absolutely stunning square built in the 1600s – Picasso Museum, Carnavalet Museum, Place de la Bastille and the Bercy business district. It’s got Jewish heritage, so you’ll find the Jewish History Museum – and you can get authentic falafels! Numerous pubs and eateries can also be found in the vicinity, although the on-site bar and restaurant has enough food and drinks to keep any lucky travel incentive winner pleased as punch!

Summary:

If you want to get that real Paris feel, are looking for a friendly neighborhood that’s close to the sights but also far enough to feel genuine, this is ideal. The location makes this hotel feel like you are part of Paris life, but you can easily get by with your language skills at the hundreds of restaurants, places to grab a quick bite or to have a drink of an evening. An elegant, eclectic place and the hotel has all you need!
